TV/Projector: All of them!

WTF?

In the last 24 hours, I've had no less than 3 people call or email me wanting to sell me G90s. Noone I've heard from before, not forum members, just HT installers that are pulling these out or 'we've had this pig sitting here for months'...

All with tube wear, two work, one 'has issues'.

Hey, if nothing else, I'll be stocking up on parts, LC assemblies and lenses. I am down one Ya board, so the first working one goes to my test set... if the deals go through.

Someone rumored that there may have only been 2000 G90s ever made. If so, I've seen 1% of them so far. Smile I've had about 20 through here, and know the whereabouts of about 40 more worldwide, so I guess I know where 3% of them are. Smile

Sounds good Curt!! I know there was 2 brand new ones sitting in a shop in China somewhere, for about $260,000 Renmimbi each you could have those too!!

I havent been on here for a long time due to being quite busy ( i havent managed to get around to fitting those 2 flybacks you sent me for my VPH 1001 yet either, so no news for you there.. ) , so i dont know if anyone managed to sort out anything with Sony in regards to these G90s and the lack of parts available to repair them.

In my days at Barco a lot of the Sales and support guys were ex Sony and it was always a challenge to estimate how many of this or that they were selling. We didn't reckon more than 20 units made it to the UK. Versus about 100-200 BG/D1209

I always thought only 1000 were ever made. I've never seen or heard of a G90 with 4 digits in the serial number.

I've had two more offers to buy them today. Picking one up next week, made an offer on the other that has an issue.
