My friend have the projector in subject.
Tubes are SD187

A few days ago the green tube died.
It showed a black horizontal line in the phosphor.

My friend purchased another green tube (07ms) and he was been happy for some days.

Unfortunately this second tube died showing the same problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Your problem appears to be the vertical board or maybe the convergence board. That is a scan line foldover, not a fault in the tube. Push down HARD on all socketed chips on the convergence board. If that's not it, then try a new V board or convergence board. I do have stock.
