Are you using new s series input and driver boards with 7621735 rgb amps from non s 808?

Those amps could be problem, because 75 MHz rgb amps used in BD808s are different. 7621736 rgb amps have jumper, so you can select which driver board is compatible.

Jumper affect to IBCL signal that controll driver to limit beam current. I'm not sure if this is proplem, but it's not too hard to mod one amp and see if it's help.

7621735 (808) -> 7621736 (D808s)
Remove R7 from rgb amp and chance C6 (100uF) to 10uF.

No Ile. I use normal (non s) input and driver boards from BG808
rgb amps are R7621735

Yes I found C6 (100uF) but not found R7 in the RGB amp, there is a R7 in the socket board (R762508)

The issue was a bad RGB amp! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

And now that I can view menu, I found there is a IC2 error in some geometry settings.

I must check wire connect in convergence driver or swap it with another board.

Dom,

I'm really glad to hear that you've located the problem (and it can be so easily corrected), especially since we were running out of ideas. Wink But you only had one bad RGB amp, right? Not all 3?

> If I restore default 75 mhz neckboards come back the problems! The tubes bright intense like lamps!!! <

With this written in the plural, it pretty much eliminates an RGB amp issue, since it's highly unlikely you'd have problems with more than one. So that would tend to lead analysis astray.

Tim

I have language problems (I'm italian and must use translator) Very Happy

However ... during my tests I used bad rgb AMP.
When relative tube bright very (VERY) intense light I disconnected power quickly for fear to break something.

Now I must to solve IC2 error Confused

You're doing fine.

> Now I must to solve IC2 error <

Technically, it's I2C. You didn't mention which error# you got, but I'll point out that sometimes these errors are as easy to resolve as simply re-seating the convergence board. I suspect you've already tried that, but just in case.

Probably there's a bad resistor (SR1)

Stupid issue!

There was two wire disconnect from convergence driver to convergence output!

Yesssssssssssssssssssss

And now the projector working fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffineeeeeeeeee Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

There is the last adjustment: heater voltage because I use 808s SMPS..

Thanks to all!
