Star Trek (2009) out on Blu-ray on Nov 17, 2009!
This one may just sell a few copies, you think?
It's a 3-disc version with a digital copy thrown in too.
Price is currently set pretty high at $27.99 but with Amazon's pre-order guarantee I expect it to drop a few bucks before shipping.

Pre-order at Amazon using the link above to get the best price. If the price goes down (even just for a day) between now and the release date you get the lowest price.

Great movie....Watched it last night.
The only person I might have changed was the guy playing Dr. McCoy...It was almost like he was trying to do an impersonation of Deforest Kelly.

Picked one up yesterday. It was pretty good. Visually it was great. The writing was pretty good and it leaves us with a great new story arc for the next set of films. the casting was good too, the guy playing McCoy was a bit much. Zoe Saldana is a complete cutie!
3 Dawgz out of 5 for Star Trek!

Bones was played by Karl Urban, who I most associate with Eomer in the LOTR trilogy. I don't remember disliking his character, though the last (and only) time I saw the film was at release.

I thought Karl Urban was channeling Bones. It gave the film a 60's campy quality.

I've had a bootleg screener copy for a few months and I finally got around to watching it this past weekend. What a kick ass Star Trek. As a kid Star Trek was one of the shows that was on when the adults were hanging out and us kids were relegated to the 8 channels of OTA tv we had at the time and it was very amusing to me to see the character development of the early days portrayed in this flic. Very fun to watch. Can't wait to see it on blu ray.

I watched this last night as well and definitely plan on having it in the player again this weekend. This is easily one of the best Star Trek movies.

The B/R transfer is Excellent. Visually its a Dyn-O- mite flick.

The wife and I watched this last night. I had been hearing about how Odd-Numbered Sequel-ish this movie was, and I guess that set my expectations rather low. I think this actually helped me enjoy it much more than I would have otherwise (e.g. being the product of a hyped machine victim).
While I contest the Old meeting the Young, I can say that this one offering is so much more than the ST:TMP could have dreamed of.
