The RS-232 codes are not in the 500 manual but are in the 700 manual. I would give them a try. The 700 manual is posted on this site.

I've got about 10 700s here and 5 500s. I've got a 'DWIN repairs' ad posted continually on eBay, and actually get a number of emails from people with digitals, but also some CRT inquiries. Smile

So you've got both 500's and 700's in the shop. Just for $hit's and giggles, in your opinion, which one puts out the best image? Is it the EM 500 or the ES 700?

What is the HV output to the tubes of a 500?

What is the tube neck diameter?
