as mentioned in an earlier thread, my pj goes blank for a second, then returns out of focus and then over the course of about 1 second refocuses...happens about twice an hour.

so i need to pull the hvps and send it to curt. what is the best way? can i leave the pj ceiling mounted? i have a curved set of 4 chairs underneath and they are a bioootch to remove and then replace after the pj goes back up. so if possible, i'ld reallllly like to leave the pj on the ceiling.

mucho gracious

Now this is just my opinion. As the Marquee shares the same manufacturer for their HVPS as AmPro which earned them their bad reputation, I would order a refurbished HVPS from Curt, then send in the old one for service. That way you won't be without your theater, you will have the part in advance so it will be easy to figure out how to swap it out and you'll have a spare for when it happens again.

I think Curt has instructions with pictures on how to do it on this site.
