I just purchased the Sony IFB-FULLHD for a Sony VPH 1272Q
HDMI 1.3. But I can not seem to get an image through the
HDMI input. Yet the Bluray does function through HDMI on my
Samsung DLP TV. Config issues? Suggestions?

Hi

I think you need to move a switch on a board, you will need to take the lid off the projector and remove the plastic bit (held on with 3 screws) that covers one of the screws for the rear plug in board that has the S-Video in / out and Composite video in / out, remote, control and 14 pin round socket on it.

There are a couple of switches on this board one maked "5BNC" try moving that the other way to what its on and try it.

A tip would be to put some marker pen on the board / switch case to indicate the original postion of the switch before you move it, just in case you switch the wrong ones (I think from memory there are 3 on this board)

Remember to switch off your PJ and allow the standby light to go out before pulling or plugging the boards.

Hope this helps.
