I bet you'll be able to figure it out. Anything is easy when you spend enough time.

Mr.Green, If I can I will
Jask,if you come pick it up
Schmoe yes I did it was only a few dollars more.Could it be used without the bundle?
Nashou I hope it goes well. You have a lot of patience.
Emdawgz Right on
Zebu I belive that too. just keep trying.
Everyone else ,I feel the love in the room. The bothering will continue.
I guess I shouldn't have given that last option,it's the most popular though.

Yes the EyeOne can be used without the CalMan bundle. You can use freeware like Colorimetre HCFR, which does a great job. Kal says the CalMan software is excellent, though.

Thanks again Gary. I took head of your suggestions.
The small adjustments to the green drive and G-2 I made from the last thread were huge in PQ, so I figure this will really help.
Could it hurt anything trying this out?

No, especially if you record your G2/Drive settings before you start. If you totally hose it up, just restore the original settings and you'll be back where you started.
Glad it's working so well for you!

As usual I am overwhelmed immediately. My computer crashed during the simple install, then the internet went down, Then the spare computer would not recognize the EyeOne.
I haven't voted so as to not skew the results but......I am sure magic smoke won't happen. And I can't bother myself.
Pickings get pretty slim from here.

Thanks Nashou. I have done that now I need to take this computer off the net and take it upstairs to try out the EyeOne. I'm sure I'll be back.

I'm back.
The Eye one is plugged in, recognized, the Get Grey disc is in, and I can't do squat after that.
The prompts is saying start Get Grey menu and then nothing happens . I'll try to hang but that depends on how fast the responses are tonight.
I'm sure it's simple, like me.

You have to have an IR emmiter connected tot he computer and aiming towards the Player fr it to automate the proper sequence of play pause forward etc. so select manual mode for the getgrey disc, this means you hit forward and select the proper IRE pattern you need.
So what i am saying is you selected the automatic feature in Calman.
