Oh... wow... otherwise it would be in YPbPr mode and only using the green signal as luma towards green, thinking the others were the blue and red luma diffs.

I also havenotice that when there is no input signal i get a wierd line on the bottom of the red and green tube and i don't know what it is or what it will do if i leave as is. Any idea?
I'm planning on cleaning the projector tomorrow as i got it in a bit of a state with a lot of dust and dirt in it which could be causing the problem, how is the best way to clean a crt projector?
Cheers

What resolution are you set at?
Try 480p
Did you turn 5 BNC "on"
Take the gammaX out while you test this.
Also check the "CLAMP" setting. Try cycling through it to see if that makes a difference.

Right just to fill you all in with where i am. I have my projector on 1024 by 768 , HDTV is on , BNC mode on and my gamma X out of the equation.
I am now getting green and red on constantly with a good image. The blue however is not on. When i change my resolution the blue flashes and then goes off. The clamp setting has no effect on the blue and neither do the lower resolutions. Is there some thing i'm missng as the blue still works fine displaying the menu.
Please help me get my first home cinema up and running

You don't need "HDTV" set to "ON" since you are sending the projector an RGBHV signal from an HTPC. Turn HDTV OFF.
HDTV commonly denotes a different synch/signal system than what you are currently using, generally only necessary with a component signal.
