I'd like to help you with that but I have my hands full this weekend rebuilding a 4600HD with a new front end. It's getting Thomson tubes and Marquee optics. It's turning into more of a project than I anticipated. It is sucking up alot of time. It will work though. Besides, a bunch of Barco/gay jokes would surely land me in hot water

Wonderful find... sadly some of the links it references are dead (and would have been quite helpful to me). Ah well. The info on that page is still invaluable all by itself!

Hi Tom,
Thanks. Been lurking here for a while... finally getting around to setting back up my PJ, and figured it was time I set up an account.
Mostly, the stuff I would really like to see are the protocols/commands for the 500/800/etc series projectors to communicate with them via RS232 as I am not too thrilled with the Control Software for them (see: https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=16808.html). I'd like to write my own...
The technical paper on the memory banks would be pretty nice to have as well.
Thanks,
Rob

Thanks Tom,
That is definitely a nice starting point. Backing up everything Barco that I can find. May start grabbing info on other models in the future as well.
If I ever get a chance, I will try to arrange it all online someplace - since I do a bunch of web hosting, I dont have the technical limitations of arranging such - but since I do a bunch of web hosting (and design) I do have some time constraints...
