|
|
I have one BG1208 and one 1208/2.
I want to use the 1208/2 and sell the other, but i want to fix it first.
On 1208/2 i have horrible blue bleeding when contrast is over 55, the other only bleeds over 85-90.
1208/2 is now using the tubes from the other, and i have also tried using the neckboards but it does not help.
That is: ALL tubes and ALL neckboards perform in the 1208 without bleed.
So what other board are involved that i can try swapping?

Swap driver board R7621175, there contrast is added to signal.
If no help, swap switcher board R7617481.
If you use port3 port, then also it could be problem.

Tried swapping all three boards, first one by one, then all at once, but it does not help

It could be the tubes. IF the set has Sony tubes, I've seen this in higher hour BG808s years ago. On the focus/G2 block, are there 3 red wires, one from each tube going to it, or just the lead from the splitter.
A low filament voltage can do it as well.

It is 180dvb tubes, identical tubes in both and the tubes worked in the old 1208 before. I have always had this bleeding problem on the new one.
Where do i adjust filament voltage? What's it supposed to be?

When you transferred the tubes have you kept the magnetics?
Could this be an Astig related problem?

I don't remember, over a year ago i swapped tubes. I think i kept the magnetics. In my bleeding 1208/2 there are astig adjustments in a menu and if i remember correct there were extra wires on the magnetics for astigmatism?
So i don't think i swapped them beacuse of that.. well i don't really remember.

OK, ignore what I said, not applicable to the DVB tubes. Post a pix of the bleeding.
Cheers!
