Having the basement floors done this week. The sealant is going to be acrylic based. The solvent is Xylene based. Getting high off of those sweet smelling fumes.

Have four windows and a door open in the basement with a fan to suck air out of the basement, thus creating a negative atmospheric pressure. But as the solvent tends to evaporate the sweet smells present themselves. Good times!

We shut the NG off in the basement. With the windows on the 1st floor open, the ragweed and grass is coming in the house. Coincidentally, I just got back my allergen blood panel back and it said I was allergic to cats (have two), ragweed, pollen, and cockroaches (have none).

And yes, my eyes are itching, red, sore, etc.

I'm allergic to cats and have 3. You get used to your own, especially if they are indoor only.

I figured as much. If I had a problem with my two indoor cats it would have shown itself sooner, but it could also be I am at some sory fo threshold with them and something new has tipped the scale. Thursday night I was without the use of my eyes, all day Friday, a little better this morning.

Made appointments with the Emory Eye Center and the Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic for next week.
