Hi,

After adjusting my G2s on my BG808, I put the contrast level back and I was surprised to see how bad the picture looks like (escpecially grainy) when I looked directly into the blue tube. The red and green seems very sharp and clear.
DO I have to worry?

Sounds like an output amp problem. You could swap Output Amps and see if the it travels to the new tube if it does you might have a problem with that output amp.
