Sorry for this: but can somebody give me a refresher on the new bellows, and anodizing? As in what is its purpose and benefits.

The benifit is in being able to replace a leaking one. Or to make it easier when doing a C-Element replacement or improvement or tube replacement.You no longer have to hope and pray you don't tear the old bellows during the procedure and then be S.O.L. on finishing the Project.
And I am sure there is more than these few.

I thought I would share this for those with a septic system and don't want your glycol going down the drain. I wanted to recapture the glycol without having to go through the painstaking process of drawing it out via a needle.
I got an old trash can I want to pitch anyway, removed the top and bottom plates so that the C-element assembly can act as an accordian with the tube assembly. I then removed the fill screws, turn the tube over, over the bucket. Glycol started pouring out. I then pulled out on the C-element assembly very gently, which drew air in to the chamber, then squeezed it back in, which forced the glycol out. Did that about four times until the chamber was empty. I could then remove the C-element from the bellows and go on wiht the tube disassembly.
Just thought I would share if you care about saving your bellows, or want to reliably recapture the glycol and save your septic system.
