Has anyone tried an HDMI to composite cable such as below? Does this work? I have a Barco Data 708 projector. Is a converter is required? Thinking this maybe easier to switch with my old receiver (No HDMI) instead of going with an HDFury. Comments? Do you think the quality would have a perceivable difference over the HDFury?

We've actually discussed that cable (or one just like it) before a few times. The cable simply can't be anything but a scam.

HDMI is by definition digital-only and component is by definition analog-only. As a passive device, the cable can't possibly convert a digital signal to an analog signal. So, there's no point in comparing the quality to an HD Fury because the cable won't work... At all... Ever... Period.

This is a scam, there is NO analog in an HDMI conector. It will not work.
