Nice Rig! Enjoy the $2/Gallon gas while we can. I haven't had my Ski Nautique out in 2 years with the cheap gas compared to last year I think I will break it out.

Mine is old as hell a 1986.... Ford V8...Very simple design and easy to work on. I'm getting too old and fat to put much time on the water. Last time I was up on a trick ski I F'uped my back good. Was off work for a week, I could get up on a pair but thats pretty boring.

yup, I traded in my 30 ft dinosaur for a 40 ft dinosaur.
After about 5 years I figured out I didn't like being in solidary confinement.

No one to talk to and trapped to the drivers seat until I reach my destination. No food, no water, even the dog would disappear.

While I miss being someplace else, the pain and suffering of getting there isn't worth it anymore, so now I pour a glass of wine and switch on the scenery channel and I'm there baby!!!, with out paying $4 per gallon for diesel... How kewl is that?

Ehh - the concept is excellent, but the execution is weak. Smile

Still, that would have been a tricky one to pull off at a high level anyway. Probably wasn't worth the time to do right!

You know, every since I moved down south my thoughts on fishing down here is that it just sucks. I've been fishing up north and in Canada since I was a little kid and have always had great fun fishing but down here, no. We caught 1 nice largemouth bass and some decent brim but that was 3 days of fishing,,,, Sad Yesterday while in the boat and wondering why its seems so difficult here I looked in the water and it was just cloudy. I mean you cant see your lure until its almost at the boat. Then I remember seeing this in every water down here. Then I thought, man, the water is so clear up north you can see your lure from the cast to the retrieve. So I'm thinking........THE FISH CANT SEE THE LURE!!!!!!

Either that or these southern fish just dont want to get caught by a Yankee....... Laughing

I did have a surprising visit by a water moccasin that followed my lure back to the boat and popped up about 7 feet away. Again, with the murky water I never saw him until he was there. A bunch of 4 letter words and swinging my pole at him and he went back under water. Needless to say we quickly left that area.

But we did have fun flying around the lake at about 55mph.... Shocked On the water that feels like a hundred.....

All in all it was a relaxing weekend...... Thumbs Up

Hey Gramps, I could send you that amp. You could take it to your favorite fishin hole, plug it in, flip the switch and scare them fish out of the water Laughing

Cuz I'm afraid you'll find something really stupid that I've missed. I'll feel like a a-hole for missing it and I'll never hear the end of it Mr. Green

Have you ever been in a situation where you keep making or overlooking the same mistake. I'm hoping that if I come back to it in a while and look at it with a fresh pair of t!ts, I mean eyes, the problem will be obvious.
But... I won't have a chance to look at it again for a couple of weeks. I have to many house projects planned. If you want to take a whack at it, feel free. I could dump it in the mail on Sat. Right now I'm using the sub with a loaner Klipsch 150 amp plate amp that works sweet. PM me the address if you want me to send it.

That other diode problem I was dealing with. I substituted the 1N4007's with 1N539's and it works fine.
