HI.
Been using HDfury 2 linked to STB and my hauppauge 1212 PVR with no problems.
Last night hooked up the HDFURY2 to the HDMI output on my HP 9000 laptop and the system immediately crashed.
Restarted windows and boots up normally but once HDFURY2 connected the laptop immediately shuts down.
I wonder if this is due to HDCP issues and if it is , is the laptop supposed to behave in this way?

Anyone have any idea whats going on?????

The display adapter's video driver is crashing the OS... And no - the computer is absolutely not supposed to behave that way.

I'd head over to the HP support area and see if there aren't some updated drivers for your computer.

Yes, look for an updated video driver. That ususally clears up this issue.
