Wait...so what is the question?
Do you need help with cabling? Setup? Error codes?

Wait before you turn it on you need to modify the hell out of it. We could probably jet Gary M. over to your place...He's the NEC expert.
Seriously....I would try 1080i first...Using the component input on the Moome DVI. My Moome DVI never really worked right, it always seemed flakey, the component input works fine.
It won't scale DVD in that mode but at least you should get a stable source. Then onces you prove the set works then tackle HDMI/DVI.

Does the XG work as normal with a RGBHV input (say from a PC)?
Is this an XG problem or a Moome problem?
If it's a Moome problem...well...where's my 50ft pole?....
Why people use DVI/HDMI is beyond me, I've tried twice and run screaming back to RGBHV both times. DVI/HDMI didn't look any better....when it worked. What a PITA.

Mark is right...Your first try should be with RGBHV and a PC if you have a break out cable.

First things first, I thought this was a question on another forum I'm on and responded to already. I use the same avatar as curt has up right now in another forum that looks that same.
And second, have you tried to at least see if the PJ will display by hooking in an s-video source.
And are you sure you've setup up other inputs????

Hey, is Gary turning into our token avs 'raster'? Haha!
THe guys are right, run an RGBHV signal intp the set first. Follow the 'definitive' setup guide on the main site, which I wrote while setting up an XG. Once a picture locks (which it should right away), then feel free to play with teh Fury and the HDMI signal.

If you are running at a resolution that hasn't been input into the projector you need to set up a new input for that resolution.
I need to look at my remote to tell you how to do it but under a menu I thought it was called signal entry. Call it whatever resolution you are running and then proceed to set up the signal using the setup guide.
WE NEED PICTURES!!!!

I agree with everybody else.
Start with the VGA-BNC cable and run straight from the computer first. Get a signal the projector can lock easily to, do a set up.
Once you have a good setup running with that, then you can run HDMI. My NEC hated the HDMI hookup first. Mine wouldn't lock to anything until I went to an old laptop and did a setup with 800 x 600 resolution (using the VGA-BCN cable). Once I had that locked in, it got better and better.
Your moome card might not be working also. Try using the VGA-BNC cable to see if you can at least get an image. If you can using the BNC connectors, then it might be the moome card.
Good luck. Keep us posted!
