Got cable today. Trying again from above. I never can get the 1920 and the 1080 number in the fields like your example on the advanced timing options page. On the display profiles page it looks like your 2nd output will even go higher? I have the exact card you do. HD4890. How much mem on your card? Mine has 1g. Not sure what to do.

if you are in the advanced timing options be sure to have selected the 2nd out of the graphics card otherwise you will be adjusting the monitor which may be limited in resoltion.
in catalyst control center you should choose default vga monitor.
in the top bar you first choose 2 and then click advanced timing options to alter porch settings and vert refresh rate.

yes to all, but can not type in the 1920 &1080 in the fields on the advanced timing page

in the advanced timings menu click on custom resolution then choose user defined and then 1920*1080 see what happens.

On the custom page how do you have the polarity set?

i can not understand why it doesnt work.
try the resolution 1920*1080 in the catalyst control centre first (dont forget to unlock in powerstrip)
then go to powerstrip and try again.

I do not under stand what I did, but I finally got the numbers you have on your page. I have no image currently. If I side something over to the right I do not get an image.

maybe the barco only syncs to negative or only positive.

are you sure you put the h and v on the right connector on the barco.
white cable is hor
black is vertical.

Yes, i had it for a moment. it was skewed. I'm pretty sure it needs to be neg sync. May have to ask someone running PWstrip and a barco the rest.

skew has to be adjusted in the geometry section thats normal, has nothing to do with powerstrip.

How can I get one of the test pattern programs to show on the second screen, neither can I drag to the pj?

you have to set the pj as you main screen.
if you have w7 right click on your desktop then select screen resolution now click on the screen of your pj and select set this screen as your main screen or something like that i dont know the exact translation.
then the program opens on your projected image.

I have a BG1209s/E with less than 4k on the chassis and tubes.

I added colored C-elements to green and red before even bolting it to the ceiling. Since the 1208 that was replaced was already colorfiltered, I figured I would probably see the difference.

I am using a HTPC with a ATI Radeon HD 5670 card together with a HDFURY3 via a Onkyo tx-nr3007 receiver. Using Windows 7 with EDID override to get 48Hz refresh and using TMT3 with reclock to get the perfectly smooth playback (and if I like, bitstreaming).

My 1209s was part of a 3xmachine blend so it is equiped with a COG and Contrast modulation board, although I have never used any of them (I suppose I could use the COG in my one machine setup).

I am perfectly happy with the image the setup produces, I have never seen anything as good (seen some high end digitals that might come close).
