Hi,

Wanted to start a thread with a list of 1209s owners and their equipment they used. I have a 1209s in which I'm changing to colored c-elements. Later this summer my HT will be done and was wanting as much info to help with this. Anyone with mod's? Was is worth the investment?
Setup info appreciated!!

Thanks
Steve

Steve I have a BG 1209s and a BD 1209s converted to a BG 1209s . Great projectors but I hope you already have the Red and Green c elements .

As for modifications there's not much I would change other the R G c elements and fresh glycol.

Also buy a 1208s with bad tubes for spare parts...

Hey Tom,

I'm actually converting it from a vertical to horizontal machine. I'm cutting lose the bellows and rotating 90 degrees. I have 2 done. The tubes are mint. Was a Seos. I would like to find a dead tube 1209s.

Has anyone used or seen Greg's mod's in real like?

If I want to go from a PS3 to my pj what would you buy?

I have two Runco 1100s which are more/less Barco 1209s units. One is fully operational and on my ceiling and the other is a parts chassis. It could be made to work fairly easily but I will wait till I find some cheap spare parts. The lesnes are HD120s, I have red and green c elements (stock on the Runcos). Red and Blue are orginal P19LPBs and green is one of Greg's new LUG's. Picture is amazing but I am still in the process of dialing it in.

Does anyone know of Steve listed below. He had done several mods and was going to send me some of his notes, but his email isn't any good.
