Same day that I posted I think.

The return address was from NJ.

I found the cover for Batman Returns on my scanner after I mailed the others in. They were smart enough to notice it missing, reduced the charged amount, and didn't send a replacement.

The other thing that sucks is that I sent in my Harry Potter Boxed set. And they sent replacement BluRays. But then the guy who baought my lot of HDDVDs emails me and says "did you know your HP set was already BluRays?". But it was fine with him because he already had a BluRay player too. But that would've saved me some hassle instead of paying to trade Blu for Blu.

Did they send it back USPS or UPS? I am wondering if a box got swiped.

Sent an email. They responded after a few days that my order was almost completed with processing and would ship soon. That night I got a shipping tracking number.

Today I received a letter that says due to response they ran out of inventory and would be delayed.

My tracking number shows up as being delivered tomorrow.

Must have been a good response.

Look what I got!

Now I just need to sell the following:

300
Ant Bully, The
Full Metal Jacket: Deluxe Edition
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Planet Earth: The Complete Collection
Polar Express
Ultimate Matrix Collection, The
Troy Director's Cut
Tim Burton's Corpse Bride

I thought they were going for $6 a piece? Shipping will obviously be cheaper the more you buy.

Not sure why this is worth it?

If you have HD DVDs, you have a way to play them. Unless that machine breaks, why is the BD worth $5. Hell, you'll be able to by the BD of most of these used for about that, and chances are you don't "need" to convert them all (i.e. probably don't watch many of them that much).

Interesting, but I'm still lost.

If you can't see value in consolidating your players and media, then this isn't for you.

I can buy the BR for $5 and then sell the coverless HD for $5. No loss for me, plus I get to rid my rack of one piece of outdated equipment and move forward.

Do you want any of the above HD DVD's? Cool

My players are consolidated, so I see no benefit in consolidating media. Smile

But, for most, is consolidated players that big of a deal?

Lastly, you are correct, if a coverless HD DVD will sell for $5, then it is worth it. Are you really getting that for them (if not, not really worth the hassle)?

I haven't actively sold any for about 6 months...so maybe not..but should be close.

I know I can get more for the planet earth and matrix versions.

I don't have a universal player and don't intend on investing in one.

To each his own...I don't imagine that WB is making money on this but who knows. I haven't seen BR production costs since the format war ended.
