Take the lenses off and get help...
What size are the lens hex head cap bolts ? 5/32 ?
For that matter, if you're alone and have the time, you can take the lenses off, the top, sides, then all three tubes, then the rest of the chassis. No individual piece will weigh more than about 40lbs or so...
I use a pneumatic wheel fridge cart, which is relatively small. You can lay it down, slide a projector onto it, strap it in place with a couple of old belts, then when you get to the car, lay it against the back of the car and slide the projector up it into the back. I picked up 4 NEC PG's and an XG from the local University alone using this method, it did take two trips in my 20 year old Camry though...

Aha saw horse + 2x4's slide it in the back down hill.
A winner! Cheap and I have all the stuff.
The prize Freeeee Air!!!!

I picked up my 1200 Barco with small VW
Back seat was needed to tilt though and I removed lenses, so it was easier to lift pj with seller.

9501LC from GovLiq, in a giant RP chassis... The 9501 went into the back of the 2003 Jetta TDI (two man lift) easily, giant RP chassis into a 5x8 garden trailer, 23 hour round trip (and I was the only driver )

As others have stated remove the lenses that will reduce the weight considerably. Those HD10s are heavy, I would guess 15 pounds each +/- so a very good weight savings by removing them. In a Barco, I don't know about a Marquee, removing the boards and convergence tray removes another 20-30 pounds. Given you are a newbie at this, I probably wouldn't go removing boards but if you are desperate it might help.

Not a bad idea. I think I will remove lenses and cover. That should take the weight down to 150 LBS I guess.
Normally I wouldn't do this But as I thought it was going to, my back popped last night so I am really sore.
I feel like an ass because I said to the seller "Nah don't worry about it I'm strong ,like Popeye, the 2 of us can handel it.'
Spinach ain't gonna cut it.
It's 9 0'Clock Friday morning and now I'm off to get the marquee

Well I'm back home with the Marquee intact so far. The seller had someone working on his home and together they loaded it for me, slid it right in the back on the quilts I brought with me. Now I am waiting for my neighbor to come home so he and a friend can carry it upstairs for me.
Time is 4:30 drove 250 mile round trip, stopped for lunch, sat out side on the dock and had crabs and fried fish. 70 degrees and sunny for a change . So far it's been a good day except for my aching back.
Oh, and by the way........ it has GT-17 lenses

It was the projector I saw in VA. that I said i didn't like. But with further research it turn out to be pretty good. I not sure if you know Jeff Smith over on avs but that is who I bought it from. It is supposed to be a tricked out M/P modedd ultra boards and upgraded power supplies ETC. As for a steal not exactly but under $2500.00

Well we will see,set up will determine that. I obviously think it was fair.
7:10 p.m. Neighbor came Through. Cost 0. But I did supply 2 six packs of guiness to them.
After the lift of course.

Sweet.
So what do you think of the 3 gunned tank, now that it's in your house?
Don't worry, within 6 months you'll hardly notice it anymore.
Do you know what Jeff replaced the 9500 with? Digital?
Keep us informed on your progress. Pictures are always good too.

Here is his AVS signature.
Finally went digital: RS20, ISCO IIIs, DIY high gain torus screen with 4 way masking and adjustable image size
Thoughts on the 3 GUN TANK. IT'S f*cking HEAVY. Size doesn't bother me at all in OK in the 15x22 room. Still on the floor of course. I turned it on and now I have to figure out the GT17 throw to start and how to un-invert the picture.

I think it's like 185 pounds or something. My pg+ is 126 pounds and I find it heavy... by myself.
