Progress report.
After hard day of cooking breakfast for Buffalo Bills, and New England Patriots fans, I got the second Mount measured out and mounted. I'll connect al the Wires in the Marquee tonight and maybe lift it into position and fire it up with the green lens on again to make sure I have it close before Justin arrives late Tuesday night. My arms , neck and back are sore as hell, especially the neck.
Coffee break now.

lol, funny....And thanks for the compliment.
I just realized since I am swapping the location on the right PJ of the red and Blue tube the red G2 does not reach the
new location. So, do I just splice some more G2 wire to the existing red Or should I Pull the tubes, and swap the location of the red and blue G2 wires in the HVPS wiring harness connector under the Belly fans? It be more "correct" if I swap them and just re code the end with the appropriate colored heat shrink. So my wiring of the PJ for tonight is on Hold till I think about it over night or hear what you guys have to say. Just adding more wire might work but adding another connecting point with hundreds of volts of DC
somehow makes me think a problem could happen down the road.
Any one do this for a stack or did william do this with his blend and what did he do with the G2?
I know the umbilical cord with all the other voltages really does not matter .
Hmmm........

Splicing makes me nervous for this application; too much risk with no real reward (other than saving your neck;-)). I vote for swapping the wires. Wait till I get there if your in that rough a shape.

Just swapped the G2's the way I mentioned above was how I went, not hard at all.
First I tipped the PJ up to get at the Belly fan access cover.
Then I marked the RGB location of the G2 wires in the Belly fan housing.
I then dropped her down and removed the HVPS to gain access to the harness connector block.
I used a small Awl I had to depress the spring tab that holds the metal wire connector in harness and
then a small screw driver to push the connector out the back of the harness block.
here you can see the Red and Blue connectors pushed out.
Now the red wire being pushed into the Blue G2 harness location.
Now I just need to wire up the innards and flip her over and mount her........um that sounds a bit sexual

Looking good Tom.
I'm glad you moved the G2 wire instead of splicing. Just a lot more professional IMHO.

Thanks Craig, I agree about the G2. I still have the put the appropriate shrink wrap on them.
One other thing was the Red astig did not reach either. So for now I pried open the plastic housing of the tube
which gives just enough length for the wires with the rear heat sink down. Eventually I will drill a hole for them.
After I got the Second PJ up I realized the mounts were not evenly mounted between the two PJ's. And I just measured the legnth of the one mount distance from top part to bottom part and transfered that over. But because the top sections were not even in drop hight the one PJ was an inch higher. I finally realized what was going on and they are now with in 1/16th of an inch. what I did was take a 10 foot long extra section of Uni-Strut across the front of both PJ's
and then leveled that in the middle( between both) . I had to lower the second PJ about and inch. Then I had to get the same downward angle. I used the level for that was well just eyeballing the bubble to the same location in the window.
I might be off on the yaw but the Marquee mounts allow for side to side movement. So Just hope I have a good night at work so i can close early!

Dear Fellow Blend Dog;
I did swap the red and blue CRTs on the left projector of the blend. The only cables I had to reroute were the red and blue video cables from the VIM to the neckboards. All other cables were long enough as is. You are doing way too much work.
Keep it up though.

PS: Are you going to have a small Meet when you are through (hopefully before winter sets in, and one has to tunnel great distances to get to you?)
PPS: I did not see your question until Tuesday. Tied up with alcohol and women all weekend long, just like my friend Adam.

I looked on my older marquee and the red G2 was long enough. On the Longbows they shortened them. The red just reaches the red with about 4 inches of play. Also the way they did the focus coil set up on these new 200x VDC tubes the Wires are braided, usually unbraiding them gives a bit more play. The Astig will reach if I have the rear heat sink closed but I am always messing around in there so I need the ability for the heat sink to swing all the way open.
I might try to have one if I I have time. And no tunnel digging! Big Dog made it here with no shovels! But it was not winter. lol

Is there something obscuring the upper right and lower right of the pattern. I am looking at the lower picture.

Im a bit exited to see what gamma target you will prefer now you get those 9" tubes up running. And if you still prefer the line modded VIM with the trimpots.

Just looking at that laser level makes me sick. I had two till they were stolen. I bought two on Sams closeout for next to nothing. Now I would have to spend $100 to replace them.

The obstruction is just painters tape.
I'll still use 2.35 gamma, maybe 2.3. I'll try 4 or 5 and save them in memory.
Yeah having two laser levels really helps.
Justin meticulously is measuring out each square!!! I just eye balled it
