i have buyed very cheap an Lumagen vision hdp to use the gamma equelizer

After all these years it sounds almost too good to be true.
I can't wait to work on my 2 beasts with the mods.

It was some time coming, but yes, the mod is now available.

Does anyone have any of these chips or modded neck boards laying around? I have a 1292 with mint tubes to play with. It may make a good she'd projector.

I have a chance to buy a pair of 1292s, but based on what little info I found on them, I may not want to bother even though both come with minty tubes. Is there any info available on this mod?

At this point the 1292s should be free. Smile

The red C element is worth $100 in each set, but that's about it.

Well CRT stuff is still not near as abundant over here in the EU. Sad

I thought I might have a shot at getting a pair of decent 9"-ers, but based on what I've read and been told about them, I'll have to pass.

What are you going to do with all of those 1292's? Are they as loud as everyone says they are?

I'm a new 9" CRT'er, so I don't have a clue how any of these things sound, except for the G90 I just got, and I have to say, it's pretty damn quiet for such a big projector. I mean really super quiet. (to me anyway!)

I may just be used to high lumen event projectors and their loudness though, they're just as big as a 9" CRT but a HELL of a lot louder thanks to those nice hot xenon lamps.
