So I'm in Florida this past weekend cruising down A1A in Cocoa Beach and what do I find?

With my rag-top down so my hair can blow
The girlies on standby waving just to say hi
Did you stop no I just drove by
Kept on pursuing to the next stop
I busted a left and I'm heading to the next block
The block was dead
Yo so I continued to A1A Beachfront Avenue

Pretty funny...were they giving out free samples? About a million years ago when I was a TV repair man we bought rebuilt CRT's from them...I think at the time they were in Stone Mountain, GA.

I feel A1A is one of the coolest roads to drive on...I took it from Cocoa Beach to Fort Lauderdale during the 1980s in an open Jeep, not a fast way to travel but very scenic.

Yes, they are having a going out of business sale! Shocked How many people would visit VDC if that were true? Mr. Green Actually, they share the building or did. I am not sure how many tenets are in there.

I can't believe you haven't been either. Actually, I can't believe no one else has been. You would think that Scott has a contagious disease. Very Happy I know Scott is pretty accomodating when it comes to visits. To my knowledge, the only people that have been there is MP, DIGITAL DARIN, and me. I am still upset that I didn't get a pic of Darin with a hammer over one of the Marquees. Mr. Green I would have asked why Cliff didn't stop, but I doubt Scott would have been there on the weekend.Smile

I believe the main office is still in Tucker (Mountain Industrial in case you were wondering Blorton:)). Of course, they are involved in other things besides just projection.

I don't understand why you didn't keep going. The best drive is going all the way down to Key West. It is another four hours south (yes, I said four hours) of Miami, but well worth it.

Yo Scott, wish I could have caught you while I was there. Wasn't even aware that your shop is that close to my family.

I stopped in, and there was some guys there doing some work but told me no one from VDC was present so I had to go on my merry way. Smile

Give me a little notice and stop by sometime M-F during usual working hours and I'll show you through the factory. There's not much dealing with home theater but still alot of cool projector stuff to see.

Scott

If you are interested, then both myself and MP have done threads on our visit to VDC. I am not sure if they are posted here or at AVS.
