TV/Projector: All of them!

Nope, Vision Ones. One at least has an absolutely MINT piano black finish case, the other one is in good (very slight marks). THe mint one was in an RP situation 12' in the air, I don't think it was ever touched with the exception of install and deinstall.

Both have G and B wear, both have about 6000 hours on them, both will be retubed shortly. Smile

The question was hypothetical, and there is no Aunt Mildred in my case. (At least that I'm aware of.)

I was mainly curious if there were options we could specify in a custom build that would be a better answer than simply "buying off the rack". I figure there has to be color correction options and such that the simulator guys won't care about.

I have a 2000 vette that would cost more than 43k if I were to upgrade it to the latest version. I'm not quite that well off, but I'm hoping to keep this car for many years and could see applying new car money towards a factory new pj. Wink

Yea, and I'll redecorate the theater like some sheik's lair and fill it with a harem. Rolling Eyes

Curt, I noticed that road case had a puddle of water on it. Please don't tell me you leave those projectors outside...

If so, could I get your address?

I would probably go for the split pack and maybe a blend on a Torus screen.

I wouldn't bother buying a brand new pj. With the Marquees being modular, you can replace the boards to bring it to current specs. It would probably cost you a couple of grand for brand new boards, but that is a lot cheaper than a new pj.

Like Brian, I would have to deal with family issues. For my immediate family, I wouldn't have any problems as my brother and sister don't need any money. Going further up the chain, I have already seen the mess. When my uncle died in 05, I thought my cousins would be decent about everything. My uncle gave my dad his car (a one year old Accord coupe) and they about had a fit. They wanted every last dime they could get. I mean wasn't it enough that he gave his kids almost everything in life including a college education and some money to buy their houses. Rolling Eyes

Boards are a couple of grand each board at least! To upgrade a projector with NEW boards would be very expensive .

IF you really wanted to upgrade your 9500 I think the cheapest option would be to buy a Brand new Marquee Ultra projector and pop in your tubes and sell the leftovers .
