Yep I know. I just don't get it.

Name this line, use Chinese accent while saying > YOU WERE NOT PUT ON THIS EARTH TO GET IT MR. BURTON.

Hint> Mr. Burton drives the Pork Chop Express.

I haven't even watched that movie in at least 8-10 years.

I was trying to think of the first name "Jack" and was trying to remember which movie Jack Burton belonged to. A very young and hot Kim Catrall inthat movie.

Ah, well, I hope it's a similar deal you've found.

Are you buying without having viewed CRT or did you see one finally? I always like hearing about peoples first impression of the three eyed beasts.

Thanks, it's a french oak barrel we picked up from Grey Monk Vineyard in the Okanagan. Had a 32" round glass to cover. If I ever develop the basement (cellar) it's going down there.

Somehow I knew you'd think that.

I guess if you had a really big basement youcould do an "Alice in wonderland" theme with odd shaped/sized doors. When your guests get too wasted to use them, it's time to call them a cab... Wink

Spanky Ham I decided on the CRT after resetting my rptv contrast and it was closer to what I saw on the screen in VA. Also after looking at a few digitals, sony HW-10, mitsubishi 5500, sony vwpl 60 and did not like the scenes when dark material was displayed.

It is In fact Jeff's 9500 I am buying. I think the G-2 is set on 40 which if I bump it up and use a 100" screen ought to increase the brightness. If not I'll be on the forum looking for help tracking down why.

Or everyone here is crazy for liking these things and I bought into the sickness Laughing

Most of us don't have a nice 9" LC set and still love them, with the upgrade bug always lurking of course.

One can only hope a 9" LC set is well worth it. The 9500lc is rated the 4th best projector on the ranking list, so if it doesn't impress, I'll be shocked. Just be patient with the setup.
