Sorry, for the OT. I picked the busiest forum to get a quick answer.

I'm trying to order the Pronto TSU-501 and I've been up and down the page clicking on every link I can find and nothing links me to an order page or directions on how to order.

Can someone help a brother out?

It's only $39 if you get a Barco Reality 909 to go with it... Wink

When you say you've been up and down the page, do you mean the TSU-501 product page? This one here?: http://www.curtpalme.com/TSU501.shtm
There's a "BUY NOW" button near to top right in a blue box.

If not, how did you hear about the TSU501? From the newsletter I sent out today? This one here?: http://www.curtpalme.com/newsletters/Newsletter_Mar_5_2009.shtm

I have 4 links to the order page in the "Pronto TSU-501 Remote price drop: Only $39 now!" section of the newsletter including a "More Information / Buy Now »" link at the end that takes you to the order page mentioned above.

So I thought that was pretty obvious, but obviously not! And I use the same layout on all the pages.

I need the constructive criticism from people: Why is ordering this (and other products) hard? What do you guys like / don't like?

Should I make the BUY NOW buttom 4 times bigger?

To the original poster: Where exactly did you get stuck if you don't mind me asking?

Kal

It's actually not terribly obvious, I think because it's buried in a frame-in-a-frame-in-a-frame kinda thing. So, yeah, size, but also placement - maybe something like this?

I like the bigger button, very colorful and easier to find. I didn't have a problem finding the other buttons, of course I was searching for it though. Smile

Maybe you should make the button one of those annoying boxes that follows your cursor around the screen when your trying to read and you have to click it to get it out of the way, and it then takes you to the buy page........ Laughing

You could do the same for non-members trolling through the forum. Have a totally annoying "JOIN NOW" button.

Maybe Wan would finally cough up the 20 bucks and join, if he had to look at that all the time. Mr. Green Mr. Green

Pretty nice! Problem is, many pages have multple BUY NOW buttons so they have to be beside the item you're actually buying.

For example:

http://www.curtpalme.com/HDFury2.shtm
http://www.curtpalme.com/HDfury.shtm
http://www.curtpalme.com/Box1040.shtm
http://www.curtpalme.com/CalMAN.shtm
http://www.curtpalme.com/Chroma5.shtm
http://www.curtpalme.com/EyeOnePro.shtm
http://www.curtpalme.com/Hubble.shtm
http://www.curtpalme.com/K10.shtm

How about this standard paypal button:

Instead of the one now:

Yeah i saw the bulletin. Kal, do you think those remotes will still be around in two weeks when my next check comes in?
i looked it over and it looks like an awesome product. If it's dicey though i'll pull the trigger and order now.

Impossible to know. If they keep selling the way they have in the last 24 hours, they'll be gone in a few days.

I was on the right page all along but could not see an obvious link to buy.

I think it was me as much as anything else but I do agree the BUY NOW should be a lot bigger and probably not located within a frame-in-a-frame-in-a-frame as someone pointed out. Very Happy

Just looked at the order page again,

The buy now is located on the tiny credit card.. I almost skipped right over again and I already know where it is.
Laughing
Yea, it's way to tiny and the fact that it's on the credit card is a bit confusing in that someone paying with pay pal would likely not click on a picture of a credit card. I think I passed right over it the first time because I was not even thinking about paying with a credit card.

FWIW, This would be much easier to spot, it's more "standard".

Hey, Kal... I think you have a small problem...
