So I was looking my spare projector today, and I found that it has the C.O.G. board and another board that I wasn't sure of. After a little research I found that this board is the seagull board.

My question is what benefits does this board have? I still haven't decided if I'm going to stack or blend these projectors, I'm hoping that this board might help if I want to stack in a side by side stack.

Seagulling is a distortion at the top and bottom of the screen that looks like the profile of a seagull. It should be handy to have this feature regardless if you're going to blend/stack just to get perfect geometry. My G70 has seagulling and I sure wish I had a way to fix it.

Is it possible to do a side by side stack with the 808s?

What other cards would I need if it is possible?

One of the projectors has the cog and the seagull. I haven't found any other out of the ordinary boards but I am still learning what everything is.

I've never found seagull correction to do anything useful on my 808s... usually making things better on one corner makes them worse on the other (ie, vertical seagull makes the upper left corner go up, but the upper right corner go down), so it seems pointless. I've got the geometry reasonably good as it is, but I'd swap seagull for COG any day.

Yeah all the S model Barcos have seagull (at least that I have seen) and like you it has never worked well enough for me to use it. COG can achieve the same effect and more. COG would be the more valuable of the two in my eyes.
