Well I just got home and got the Ultras into the Garage, its late and I have to work in the
am so I will work on getting them into the theater then. I didn't take them out of the
boxes but i took a few picks of the boxes.
I found the original packaging slip and now know who they were for, Boeing, like
Bruce said and they were originally shipped to Bassik Services in St Charles MO.
They were shipped on 1/16/2004.
well that's all i know for now till i open them up and see what we have.

yeah it snowed a bit, it was 55 earlier and in 1 hour went down 35 degrees!!!

Now those are photos that I never thought I'd see. Brand new, in the box projectors in the hands of the cheapest people in the world. I only thought this was possible in the D***tal world.

Even though I've gone digital and am happy with the decision, a part of me is still a little envious. A pair of basically brand new Marquees, those should be super reliable and last a long time. Throw in a nice set of 9" tubes and sit back and enjoy. Nice score

Perfect car for some slightly snowy and slick road though I love snow days everybody stays home and I get the rally course all to myself....

Yeah I have 4 Marquees I could do a quad blend with 1080p on each PJ for a 4K image!! But i need a source to pump that out and a Media filmed in 4k ! I need the 1 RED( or is the RED 1?) camera that can do that type of resolution.

thats my plan eventually, but for now I think I'll enjoy them with a temporary floor blend till I master that art. then they will get fit with 9" Thomas Tubes in fresh black Anodized housings with the new bellows I'm having made. I don't think I will do any mods to these babies for a while. Now I think I'll get another Screen and set up a test PJ for all the Mods and stuff.
I might use the "Barkenstien" yokes in them after i find the perfect wire gauge and wind for them. I am really excited now as this will get my theater back to a theater and not a testing Lab. I'll move the 9500LC ,from last years Gov Liq auction , into a test area .
