I always make sure the back porch is larger to gib=ve the beam time to settle down to avoid ringing.

in the schematic there is a 6.8pf and a 12pf cap are they both to be used in the peaking circuit?
i only see 1 trimmer in the picture of the vim.

I think the trimer is the 6.8pf cap location. Remember he used spice for the specific resolution he posted in that post so the 6.8pf was the value he needed to get best performance for that super high resolution that approached 240mhz pixel clock.

This is why i suggested to find a small trimmer value. The one you got should be fine.

Now that I am running 96hz refresh rate i need to adjust the peaking circuit for that rate.
