The blue gun on my VPH-1031Q experienced a sudden death. I have a new blue tube but the old one does not show much burn and I wonder if there is another possibility to explain the death. Does this projector have a tube video output board like my VPH-1272 does. If so where might I locate it and does anyone have any testing suggestions?

Thanks

It could also be the video amplifier right behind the tube socket. I've got spares for dirt cheap if you need one.

It has been a few weeks../months since I have powered it up. I will likely do it again this weekend and refresh my recollections of the specific symptoms.

Thanks much
