Keeping in mind of course that the reason 3M discontinued them is lack of interest. Selling 100 of each C element isn't going to start any lawsuit. (IMHO).
All of the manuals that are downloadable here for free are technically copyrighted, but do you think that anyone would come after me? Worst case if that happened, I'd pull them off the site. What about all the s/manual companies on eBay that sell copies of copyrighted material of amps etc that are 5-50 years old? They are making money off copyrighted material, and they're not being shut down. I can't see the manufacturers caring one bit.
