I'm having difficulty connecting my son's PS 3. I'm running an HDMI to DVI cable into a Lumagen HDP. The Lumagen is connected via a DVI to HDMI cable to a Moome card in a Marquee 9500. I would like to get my test patterns up and running so I can calibrate, but am stuck. The HD Sat shows a picture using an alternative Lumagen input, but looks like sh*t.

I've posted here under source devices, and at AVS in a PS3 specific gaming thread. No substantive responses. Not even a RTFM.

I think my issue may be a handshake issue, but could use some diagnostic help. I've used analog connections in the past; my Moome card just arrived and this is my first foray into digital connections and the joys of HDCP.

There are a bazzilion places out there talking about PS3 matters. Does anyone know of a decent place to start?

Have you tried hooking the ps3 directly to the Moome card?
