As per Nashou66:
"Did you check the HV cables under the red tube to make sure they did not come out during transport to your place?"

Answer this question and report back here. Unfortunately, this will require a little bit of work to check that flat cable plug. Either unscrew the top screws on the top of the back panel and swing it down toward you (easiest) and/or remove the right side panels (harder) and with a torch, you *might* be able to see and reach your hand under to check the HV cable as per ----> http://www.curtpalme.com/ElectrohomeMarquee_Layout5.shtm (although this photo has the whole red tube and housing removed). Photo is taken from the back looking at where the red tube was.

A simple check might solve all your problems!

As for the tubes, take the lenses off, take a photo of what you see and compare to the tube rating chart. ---> http://www.curtpalme.com/TubeCondition_RatingChart.shtm and report back here. Alternately, take the lenses off, take a photo (preferably without flash) and post here. We will be able to tell you if the tubes are toast or if they might be ok.

Are the Marquees better? Have a look at ---> http://www.curtpalme.com/Projector_Rankings.shtm and you tell me!

Ps... why on earth would you have 3 Sony 12xx's? What are you going to do with them?

Its hard to diagnos the problem with out a known set of working boards. If there is a bad neck board(VNB) then it can cause Spotkill and shut down the video and or the HVPS. It be best to send all your boards to Curt or if you have a marquee owner near you you can check in his machine.

I bought a 1252 & a friend gave me a 1252 & 1270 for hooking up a gas fireplace as back up units . A funny story when I first met him he was so proud of his LCD projector & asked me what I thought of the pic & all i could say was All I see are pixels . The next week he bought a sony 1251 . Ok the HV cable is OK . But the tubes have some graphics burnt in them. I guess should scrap this one & part it out
