Hey there,
I have a sony vph-1252q. I recently got an adapter peice that coverts component RCA yellow to svideo so that I can plug it into the projector. It works on my friends big screen but on the projector the image had no colors. The s-video works from a laptop but not from the wii to component to svid :/ Whats the deal? iS there anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance

The word highlighted above should be COMPOSITE.
It's possible that some sources will gho to b/w when converting the composite signal to Svideo, I've seen that here before. If that's the case, then you'll need to use composite video to the projector rather than through the Svideo adapter.
Why not get a line doubler, that will improve both the video and Svideo signals on the 1252?
