I'm getting a BG 800 that has been in storage for a while. Is there anything I need to look for besides the dead caps and cruddy connections that come for not being used daily? It sounds like it might a lot of hours on it.

Jeremy, you have 91 posts left until Feb 2nd to make me the winner in the contest. That's less than 10 posts/day... can you do that?

Not a snowballs chance in hell. He can post 10 posts a day while he is sleeping, then you will have to add the ones he posts when he wakes up.

Person99 warned me that the Barco 800 was full of liberal cooties... and he must have been right because now everytime I switch to the antenna signal all I see are images of the Lord Messiah Obama...

Cooties, whether they be liberal or conservative do not have a snowball's chance of survival in this household.
The guy said he paid $500.00 for it five years ago, and it's been stored for 2yrs. I have no use for it, if one of my buddies don't take it I'll be parting it out. I have a bunch of boards from a 1200 that I don't need either.

Picked up this BG800 yesterday. Opened it up, found a stray ground wire in one of the fan blades, pulled that out, fired it up. 6629 hrs, very faint 4:3 wear on green. It's a little dusty but everything else looks perfect. Might keep it as backup in case the 1209s dies.

Now how many times do I have to tell you jkruger. You ALWAYS have to keep a spare pj in case of emergencies! You don't want to be the only person here without an extra pj or two in closets and in various other places around the house, do you? I've even got a BD800 tucked away in a closet just in case.

I'm not so sure I would be satisfied with the 800. I think I'll keep looking for more projectors!
