It's basically the same as a 909, with only a few boards being different.

Spotmatic visited a place last year that used a fairly large number of both 8 and 9 inch barco's part (most?) were split packs. However it is still operating these machines, hence the routine retube under service contract. It is just an example of the type of operations that (still) use these, made for an impressive sight he told us over on the Dutch forum.

They do look great, the one in the science museum in Thessaloniki looked awesome when i first saw it in 2003, then in 2006 it was definitely in need of a retube.
Damn i wish i could get a few of those now with all those tubes I have, I am sure a neck board mod would be just as easy for the barco as for the marquee's.
