I have an 8500 EH and on a budget so I will be using used equipment. Which unit is gives a better result? Thanks for any impressions.

I think they both use the same 8-but chip, so if there's any difference it's probly not worth measuring. The Moome card has an advantage in that it has both DVI and Component inputs and will auto-switch between them

I'm going with Moome (when he gets his latest card finished) on the recommendation of Mike Parker. I don't know if Mike has done a side by side, but I went with his recommendation nonetheless.

The moome card is a nice piece for sure. I have two here for my Sony's. But if you're on a super tight budget just pick up an HDFury1 and buy a power supply locally.

I'll make an asumption here that your 8500 has an RGBHV card installed?
