I have a D50 and I am running component cables and have the picture fitted to my screen. I have a s-video source that I would like to add, but the picture is way over the right side of the screen. If I try to adjust the size of the s-video picture it also effects my component picture size. Is there a way to save the s-video size to a different memory location?

I used a line doubler when I had my D50 and the different sources were fed through it and if I remember correctly I never had image shifting issues. Probably 'cause the doubler appeared as one input no matter how many were actually being fed into it. Same for the scaler I went to when I got my moome card. All the different inputs were output as one so the memory just always locked onto that.

And it just so happens I have a videon Omega one line doubler for sale, 50.00 plus shipping and will have a DVDO iScan HD+ scaler for sale too. Like 350.00 without the sdi module. Add 150.00 for the module...and then there's Curt's cut, which we can split...if you're interested that is.

All your problems solved for not alotta coin...such a bargain. Twisted Evil

I have the internal line doubler in the projector and I'm satisfied with the image. I have a switch for the HDTV inputs and the image placement on the screen all stay the same no matter what source I select. Its just the S-video source causing me problems with its shifting.

Have you tried pulling up a different memory setting while the displaying the image from the s video input and then making your adjustments then saving that memory setting? The frequency from the s video input should be far enough off from the other settings that this should stick.

I am trying that but it's like I can't get the memory to stick. The adjustments I make on mem5 are for HDTV. I switch to s-video select mem1 , make the adjustments and save. Then when I go back to HDTV it's on mem1. It won't automatically switch to the proper mem setting for the input.

You are hitting the memory key after you do your adjustments right?

yes I am saving it, but it wants to return to mem 1 As soon as I toggle through the inputs it will switch to mem1. It will switch from mem5 to mem 1 when I hit the video input and if I switch back to input b ( hdtv mem5) it stays on mem1. I noticed today when I turned the projector on, the mem was set to off some how. It's very strange.
