Does CL attract the worlds flakiest sellers or what? If you were selling something and I emailed you
"I can be there in 30 min with cash in pocket" 10 minutes after you posted something for sale wouldn't you be all over it?

Instead the guy says it's late ( 9pm ). So I email him 3 times since then, same deal. 30 minutes and he's $$$ richer. Rolling Eyes
No resoponse.

My wife sells a lot of used kids clothes on crackslist, and it never fails... Somebody will email here, exchange phone numbers and make an appointment to come purchase... then not bother to show. I don't understand why you take the time to engage somebody, ask questions, make an appointment, then not care about it enough to completely blow it off. It makes no sense to me.

Of course, as you point out, it's even more stupid if it's the seller who's lazy. Do you want to frickin' sell the item, or not? If not, why did you bother to post the ad in the first place? I suppose it's because they can post the ad from the couch with Fritos in one hand, TV remote control in the other, and laptop on the lap. That's easy - but, actually conducting a transaction would mean you'd have to get off your ass for 15 minutes, which apparently is a pretty big ordeal for some people.

Crazy.

I FINALLY got my PS3!

12 attempts on CL/Kijiji with 5 of them being scammers and 6 people not following through. Rolling Eyes

5 weeks of searching, emailing phoning, replying within minutes of the forsale post saying " I have the money I need your PS3"

I even had one guy say "Ohh I'll meet you in the subway station. I'll put the PS3 in a plain shopping bag. You can take the bag and I'll take the emvelope with the cash. LMASO! Ya ok. I'll just hand off spy style and assume it works. Laughing
