I removed lenses and the tubes to move projector. While setting it up I noticed these lines at top of screen. I checked all connections and they all seem to be in the right places. any help from the crt gods much appreciated.

Is it there in the internal patterns or just the external signal? Was it there before you did your new setup or is this new?

dunno
Never saw that before, well only once in an old 14" tv where there were massive amounts of signal noise and interference from bad wiring and connectors.
Your pic shows it is happening for all three tubes...
What ecrabb asked, does it happen too on the internal patterns?
Is it exactly the same on the three tubes?
If so,
Have you tried disconnecting/reconnecting the white large power supply connectors?
You can't see them here but they would be to the left of this picture right below the red lens.

Try also re-seating some of the boards as in:

Try some pics with internal patterns and then some with external patterns.

I assume it is the same from left to right? Also, is it on on all 3 tubes? Try shuting off 1 tube at a time, and then 2 tubes. Still there on each tube?

I noticed that the problem only happends on the green tube. I should have check this I made an assumption that it was all three tubes. I am going to check the green socket later on tonight.

This could be the video output board or it could be the vertical board. I have both in stock for cheap.
