I actually like the paint-job too but I have never seen this case before? It beats the typical Vidikron fiberglass job easilly. Anyone know who made these? BTW, it's an accurate imaging version of the Marquee.

When I saw the "coolest looking Marquee case" thread title, the first thing to came to mind was "contradiction in terms". Wink Then, I took a look and sure enough - it was pretty cool looking. Flames and all!

If any of you are into motorcycles, it reminds me of a giant, over-bloated tear-drop tank like you'd see on a huge custom bike. There's a crazy bike built by a company called Boss Hoss that builds a bike around a small-block Chevy V8. You can imagine how giant the fuel tank is. That's exactly what this case reminds me of.

Here's a Boss Hoss:

OTOH, I think the Vidikron case looks pretty good, too.

LOL Yeah...The plain old E-Home case is what I would call utilitarian. Functional but not really very pleasing to the eyes. I'm not sure the flames would fit into many HT decor, but to each his own. If I was sitting behind it I think I would find the flames distracting.

Hello

The cases were made for Accurate Imaging, by a fiberglass shop here in Scottsdale that priorly made dozens of Vision cases. This shop now paints my standard Marquee lids other colors when my customers request it. Anyone interested in the Accurate case can PM me for info.

Guys!

Here we go. Gloss finish, no flames, $2795 each includes Fedex Ground in the lower 48. Add $100 for Canada. With flames, add $700. Availability 45 to 60 days since all the molds are stored way out of town and would have to be retrieved.

A few additional holes might be needed along the sides of the frame, rhese can be drilled by most of you.

<crickets chirping>

Holy....

Ouch. That's gonna leave a mark.

Sounds about right, though for a big piece of custom fiberglass nicely finished... Labor intensive stuff just isn't cheap.
