I have an older 1208/2 with 762106 can this be replaced with 7621065 and what is the difference?

You might want to send a PM to Curt and ask him. If it won't work he probably has one he can sell with a warranty. Buying a used smps with no guarantee on it might be a problem if you are paying a lot for shipping.
