So from what I can gather,the general consensus is to first treat the environement to make the most of what speakers I have and THEN if I still think I need to upgrade then go for a matching centre for the L/R,correct?

Actually, SC and I would say if the current center is not crap and is fairly tonally matched with the L and R, the treat the enviorment and if that improves intelligibility, then the next upgrade is probably a better amp(s).

If the center does not really tonally match the L and R, then a swap out to an identical center would be great.

Oh..... Ok,I understand now,I suppose it's like video in most way's. First proper setup,then calibration and then sources,if after all these steps video is still crap,THEN think about upgrading pj Very Happy
