Okay, reading back, maybe it was a correct assumption. But I assumed myself that the fuses were on both Live and Neutral. Meaning any more than 5 amps will blow one or the other, or both. So 5 amps is the max load. But maybe you're right. I think it may be 2 separate 5 amp circuits, which would mean 10 amps of course.

Sorry for ROTFLing ya! Thumbs Up

But please don't call me a UK boy again... or you will have a problem Wink

You called a Irish guy uk boy rofl, i dont think Tommy is to happy, neither am I right now I think the installed green tube has Fungus if I am not mistaken.

Oh yes looking at Curts site and Fungus removal thats indeed fungus I have in the installed green tube it was looking a little dew like in there then I thought, fungus! arroo. Hmmm lenses of and the blue and green are worn, tubes are now red 9, green 8, blue 8.5 still good enough considering the backup blue is the same as the installed one. Ok I am going to drain the old green tube get the c element of that one as this one seems infected, or maybe I should take the entire lc housing of and replace one with the other, hmmm. Confused

America, Canada, sounds the same to me.

It's only about an inch away on the map, even!

Ok, getting somewhere now, I replaced the housing on the green tube and the c element with a green c element and put it back together. Pj came on and I ran it with 1024 768 just to test for problems, ran into two problems, one was the picture was unstable, I sent this to Scott:

I have put the ampro 4600 on and connected the htpc nulled a channel and the picture is rolling upwards I think, its not hum though, I pressed 36 to see if the signal was being read properly and it kept changing slightly. Is there a specific board that could cause this fault, the picture just is not stable although the help menu is so I can set it up, but the test patterns are a bit on off. When I put the pj on for the first second it holds the picture but then loses it entirely, from looking at code 36 the signal seems a touch unstable as the number does not stay constant.

Scott told me to take the jumper of LK5 on the rgb board I think you guys call it a shorting plug? anyway, this fixed it, thanks again Scott.

Second problem I have not fixed is that the pj does not like shutting off!?, basically when I put it of it says powering down then it powers down then says initializing, so it basically restarts itself, I have to shut it of about 4 times to get it to shut of properly and just say Ampro 4600. I did try to just shut it of at the power switch at the back as soon as it powered down but I think I blew the two fuses at the back doing this when it tried to restart, so I make sure it goes off like it wants to.

Aside from that it looks quite good, I checked the battery and the power is at 3.68v with the pj unplugged, so its fully powered I hope. Hopefully someone can explain why it comes back on Neutral

Push the power button then release. Do it quick, only push the button for 1/2 second. If you hold it too long it stuffs the buffer full of on/off, on/off cycles. Once you get used to turning Ampros on and off it is really strange to turn Marquees on and off.
