I got
a Ampro 4600 HD
hd 10 s lenses, no scratches.
3 remotes, 2 of the larger newer ones and the exec.
a printed manual and notes from the seller on the pj.
3 extra tubes! green is toasty but I can use the c element on my 4300 as blue is scratched and I will also switch out the screws as one is stuck in the 4300 blue lc chamber, so its useful stuff. The red is murky and so is the blue they look about 8.5, the new tubes are pristine from what I can see, 1000 hours on them, maybe 9,9,9, no wear on green at all.
I have posted pics from the advert. The inside of the pj is spotless, absolutely clean. I have switched the fuses to our standard for the 240 v we have here.
Just one question before I put this thing on, what fuse should I use in the plug to the mains, the plug from the U.S says 15a 125v so I am guessing a 7 or 8 amp fuse would be correct, I can get a 7 but no 8 amp fuses here, so may have to put in a 10
if its a 8.
I just got the projector from Heathrow it was uber packed it took me a half hour to break open the crate and put it in the car, I wanted to take pics to show you guys but security said no cameras, the packaging was amazing.
Took us a hour to get it home got it from the car and left it downstairs I forgot how heavy this thing is.
dont worry postage cost me a lot, but value added tax on the import was surprisingly low.......

I'll give you a big "YOU SUCK" even if you didn't have it running yet. I would of loved to have gotten that. Havn't been watching the auctions much. Hope it runs well for you.
The correct fuse for 230v is 5 amp slo blo.

The fork lift guy dropped the crate about 6 inches, man!! not happy about that, luckily all the padding seems to have saved it but I have not put her on yet.
I changed those fuses but I am not sure what fuse to pop in the plug to the mains.

I'll have to check the rule-book, I'm not sure if we're allowed to give "you suck" awards when an Ampro is involved
Nice buy though, even if you don't "suck"

That is a YOU SUCK indeed!
I wonder if the set was played with by Sam Runco before he decided to go with NEC and black?
Might be worth $5K more if you can find a Sam Runco signature on it..

As the official (Self appointed) guardian of the "You suck" award, i must say.. a 9in CRT for 56 dollars is a steal!
But a "You Suck" is only awarded to those who have reached the pinnacle of the Hobby. A well setup top of the line CRT display w/ the trimmings.
So no. You do not suck.....yet

Two remotes and a spare set of P19s... Yep, you suck.
BUT: Painted tacky gold and from Reno, NV... you may want to fumigate the thing before bringing it into your house!
