the names are a little confusing. There was the DVI card, maybe V1? then the VIM HD V1.2? then the full HD V1.3? now the full HD 1.3V2. There's too many overlapping numbers.

Any news on a V1 FULLDH 1.3 to V2 upgrade?

I bought my card in April when the V1 came out. I definately won't be spending another $400 just to get the V2 1.3 card, but would pay for an upgrade.

Translation: A first batch of VIM-FULLHD v2 cards will go out this week. The rest will go out around Nov 6th.

Who's in which batch I have no idea I'm afraid. I already told Moome that the information is confusing/doesn't help much.

Yeah I was in on two of them early, Rabbies_70 got his Sony card today , so if Moome shipped the 1st batch of Vims today we could see them sat or early next week.

Kal, I'm sure you will do this, but if you do find out who is in what batch, could you let us know here, or in PMs? It would be nice to know when to expect it, or at least receive a tracking number. Thanks!

When Moome sent that email above (3 days ago) I emailed him back immediately and told him the information was of no use to anyone as everyone would (obviously) want to know which batch they're in. I told him to email everyone individually and let them know what's going on... (I have no idea who's in which batch since all payments and orders go direct to him and I don't know how large his batches are, how many he's shipped, etc).

ok, but when am I going to get MY card Laughing I'm nto too stuck on the exact date really, we all know if you paid you will get it. Badgering him with tracking numbers and such will simply slow the whole process down.
I'm guessing at this point the modifications are all hand work to existing boards, and that's slow and painstaking work (trust me), which requires testing of each card afterwards.

FYI: Moome updated the user manual to better explain the 0-255/16-235 "range expand" function.

To access the manual, see the order page here: http://www.curtpalme.com/VIM-FULLHD.shtm

Wow, that was a fast fix? unless the marquee cards came back from the factory ok and the Sony's were the ones that were not done right.

He also said that there had been a delay with parts but that they would be assembling the cards today (3rd Nov)and testing them before sending them out on Monday.

I'm presuming that this will only be the first batch (10 or so VIM-HD's?) but don't kmow for sure.
