|
|
Hi,
For the newbie question of the day...
Do I run any risk of damage if I run an NEC PG without the neck boards installed (all cabling hanging, not shorted)?
This model has a passive neck board (no video amp on neck board).
Purpose - testing unknown deflection board without risking burnt tubes in case the deflection scan collapse circuit is not functioning for some reason. I don't really feel good about risking "minty" tubes.
Thanks in advance!

The other way is to unplug the HV leads at the splitter. But stay away from the semi-exposed HV pins.
