Scam, or is E-Bay really this hard to use?

My vote is scam, due to the money order to pay.

I remember this guys' eBay ID from something in the past. Maybe I just looked at one of his auctions? Maybe Ron Paul is out of money and is selling his projector? Very Happy

E-bay is a giant POS to list itmes on. Literally dozens of little uselss things you need to click on, or choose, or would you like to add Gaucamole, etc. I don't think it's a scam.

I was looking at something else on ebay that said "pay by US Postal Service money order only" today. I always thought that it was mail fraud that the post office took pretty seriously if you used a postal money order. Maybe that has changed.

Nope. They don't care. I bought a projector from a guy on the east coast and he tried to screw me. The post office didn't care. I finally had to track the guy down through his family business. Pretty funny. I got the projector though, no thanks to the USPS.

If you want to buy it, just make sure to pick up locally and pay on pickup. I actually recognize this ebay id as well. I don't remember why.

I remember the user id also. Seems kind of weird to remember someone with almost no history. It could be just a memorable name, but still. If the location was in the Scranton, PA area, I'd say it was DaveLR (raster). Maybe he moved???

Edit: I think it really might be him. The seller's other auction has a Pittston, PA (very close to Scranton) location.

wow, good catch, you might just be on the mark. This whole sentence sounds very much like him

NOTE. This item does NOT include free shipping. The shipping wizard is useless. I can't get it working for me. Also I am unable at this time to accept paypal so please ignore any references to paypal in this auction. Payment by USPMO only. Thank you. I also wanted to list a buy it now price for this but the option is no where to be found when I was listing this.
translation : My pay-pal account has been frozen for mutliple complaints lodged against me. Laughing If it reall is "dave" then stay away

Ebay has changed themselves into just about the WORST place to sell ANYTHING now, I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone bid on this, BUT, I doubt its a scam too. Ebay really is terrible to use nowadays...

Personally, I'm getting some real bargains now because there are so few people buying from there any more, there's much less competition.

I never thought something so huge could be utterly destroyed so thoroughly. I'd lay money ebay will be GONE as an "auction" site within 3 years max, it will be just one more retail site among the masses of retail sites...Personally, for how badly the people running the show over there have screwed it up, I hope it goes bankrupt, but there's just too much cash from the day when it was run correctly for that to happen...

But on his 4th Nov addition, he quotes the raster size of zero inches, and zero lumens all-white output.....Does it work?

I asked if I could come by and take a look at the pj, and he said yes.

Not a scam IMO.

The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing.
